Silicone elastomers

 
Applications Flexible moulds (for plaster and concrete).
Characteristics Self-releasable, able to be thixotroped, transparency, resistance to tear and hydrolysis, chemical resistance, dimensional stability

- hardness from 15 to 55 Shore A
- from transparent to grey

 

Casting urethane Elastomer

Applications Moulds, seals, soft parts realisation, master mold, sand blasters.
Characteristics Several resistances (abrasion, tearing, hydrolysis, stretching, chemical agents), low viscosity
- hardness : from 25 shore A to 70 Shore D

 

Urethane for fast prototyping

Applications Prototyping, models
Characteristics Good resistance to impact and temperature, thermoplastics simulation, processing under vacuum, several colors available, short demoulding time
- hardness : from 74 to 80 Shore D
- aspect : PMMA, PC, PP, ABS, PE

 

Quick hardening urethane resin

 
Applications Thermoforming tools, models, modelling, prototyping pieces, rigid moulds, reproductions
Characteristics Low viscosity, fast hardening, fine grained, easy sanding, short demoulding time, plaster aspect, low shrinkage, easy processing
- viscosity : from 28 to 2 500 Mpas
- filled or can be filled

 

Polyurethane RIM - low pressure injectionn

Applications Prototype pieces and small series, dummies
Characteristics Impact resistance, temperature resistance, fire resistance (self extinguishing), short demoulding time, plastic matter shaming, variable modulus.
- hardness : from 73 Shore A to 80 Shore D
- appearance : PS, PP, ABS, PE

 

Epoxy casting resins

Applications Thermoforming and smelting works moulds, RIM tools, hole checking small pieces enclosing, transparent objects, machine positionning, stamping.
Characteristics Resistance at temperature, compression and abrasion, dimensional stability, high thermal resistance, transparency, long pot-life, low viscosity, good thermal conductivity, thermoplastic matter simulation. two-components filled epoxy resins. Those resins can be filled with aluminium

 

Epoxy laminating resins

Applications Composite structures by impregnation and tooling, RTM, filament winding.
Characteristics

Resistance to temperature and ultraviolet light, easy processing, low toxicity, variable reactivity, low viscosity, transparency, wettability
- two-components epoxy
- very good mecanical properties
- Tg from 70 to 190°C
- viscosity from 500 to 3 000 Mpas

 

Gelcoats

Applications Surface coat for moulds, thermoforming tools, stiff parts of master models, negatives and models for medium and big series.
Characteristics

Chemical resistance to abrasion, to delamination, to temperature, easy demoulding, sandable and polishable product (good surface aspect ), easy processing.
- Tg from 40 to 155°C

 

Fillers and pastes

Applications Sealant and modelling fillers, reinforcement.
Characteristics

Good compromise weight/stiffness, vertical partition processing, good adhesion to multiple supports
- two-component pastes.

 

Machinable slab

Applications Models (big size design), smelting works and stamping, checking fixtures, model plate, core boxes for medium and big series, prepreg models.
Characteristics

Resistance to abrasion and temperature, dimensional stability, variable density, non toxic, CN machinable, no dust, good surface aspect.

- density : from 0.08 to 1.7
- Tg from 50 to 125°C
- hardness : from 50 to 88 Shore D

 

Adhesives

Applications Assembling for tooling and modelling, structural bonding (metal, thermoplastic, honeycomb), repairing.
Characteristics

High mechanical characteristics, resistance to temperature, to marine environment and ageing, tear and shear resistance , flexibility, quick hardening, low density.

Dielectric resins

Applications Insulation and thermal protection, low exotherm, easy processing.

3 ranges of products :

Epoxy Chemical and humidity resistance. Some are cold-curing (entrapment, components soaking…), and some are hot-used (protection and soaking of motors, covering of high voltage electrical transformer…).
Urethane Quick hardening, wide range of hardnesses. They can be used for the covering of capacitors and electrical components, and the covering of low and medium voltage electrical transformers.
Silicon Resistance to humidity, low hardness. They are advocated for the protection of electronic cards or cases, and the potting of insulators and high voltage electrical transformers.

 

Metallic and mineral fillers

Applications Modification of resin properties (thermal conductivity, thixotropy, shrinkage reduction, casting thickness increasing…).

 

Two-component urethane foams

Applications Models, reserve buoyancy.
Characteristics

- from 36 to 200 kg/m3
- strength or flexible

 

Calibrated wax

Applications Simulating.
Characteristics

Resistance up to 145°C, flexibility, precision for the size, good surface aspect
- one adhesive side
- thickness from 0.2 to 10 mm

 

Release agents

Applications Parts demoulding, surface treatment of plaster models.
